Remote Trader Laptops allow you to access the normal traders directly from a laptop.

You can trade, accept jobs, and hand in completed quests without travelling back to the trader compound.

Available laptops:

• Trader Joel Laptop
  
• Trader Jen Laptop

• Trader Hugh Laptop
  
• Trader Rekt Laptop

🔓 Unlocking the Laptop Recipes

Before you can craft Remote Trader Laptops, you must unlock them through Tree Skills.

You must:

• Reach Survivor Rank by reaching at least 20 hours of gameplay.
  
• Complete at least 20 Trader Quests.
  

Veteran and Elite players also meet the Survivor Rank requirement.

Once both Tree Skills requirements are completed, the Remote Trader Laptop recipes become available for crafting.

🎟 Trader Laptop Pass

Crafting a laptop does not automatically give unlimited access.

To use any Remote Trader Laptop, you need an active:



Trader Laptop access can be purchased from the Server Market using Game Time.

When purchasing access:

• You choose how many minutes you want to add.
  
• You can add up to 60 minutes per purchase.
  
• Your total remaining access time cannot exceed 24 hours.
  
• The purchase screen shows your current remaining time, how much will be added, and the Game Time cost before you confirm.
  

Your Trader Laptop Pass status effect shows how many minutes of access you currently have remaining.

⏳ How Access Time Works

Your remaining Trader Laptop time is preserved.

• Dying does not remove your remaining access.
  
• Logging out does not reset your remaining access.
  
• Your remaining minutes are shown through the Trader Laptop Pass status effect.
  
• When your access reaches 0, you must purchase more time from the Server Market before using the laptops again.
  
• If the server wipes any minutes you have will be lost and you need to buy minutes again from the market.
  

If you attempt to use a laptop without active access, you will receive a private message telling you to obtain a Trader Laptop Pass from the Server Market.

🛒 Using a Remote Trader

Interact with the laptop just like you would interact with a normal trader.

You can:

• Buy items from the trader.
  
• Sell items to the trader.
  
• Accept normal Trader Jobs.
  
• Hand in completed quests.
  
• Receive normal trader quest rewards.
  
• Progress through your normal trader quest tiers.
  

The Remote Trader uses the same normal trader systems you are already familiar with.

👤 Every Player Has Their Own Trader

Remote Traders are personal to each player.

This means your Joel, Jen, Bob, Hugh and Rekt are separate from another player's Remote Traders.

For example:

• If you sell an item to Remote Trader Joel, that item is stored with your Joel.
  
• Another player using a Joel Laptop will not see the item you sold.
  
• If another player buys an item from their Joel, it does not remove that item from yours.
  
• Your trader inventory and restock state remain personal to you.
  

This also means multiple players can use the same type of Remote Trader at the same time without interfering with each other.

📍 Laptop Location Does Not Matter

Your Remote Trader is linked to you, not to one specific laptop.

If a Joel Laptop is picked up and placed somewhere else, your Remote Trader Joel does not reset.

You can also use another Joel Laptop elsewhere and still access your same personal Joel trader.

The same applies to Jen, Bob, Hugh and Rekt.

📋 Trader Jobs

Jobs accepted through a Remote Trader work like normal trader jobs.

Your:

• Active quests
  
• Trader progression
  
• Quest tiers
  
• Quest rewards
  

remain personal to your character.

If you accept a job through a Remote Trader Laptop, you can return to the appropriate Remote Trader Laptop to continue interacting with that trader and hand in your completed work.
